Nonprofit CFO was founded in 2022 by Suzanne and Michael Printz to serve small nonprofit organizations which lack the resources to employ a full time Chief Financial Executive. Nonprofit CFO has decades of experience serving organizations with various revenue sources including federal, state, and local governments, foundations, donors, members, and participants. Nonprofit CFO specializes in organizations with annual budgets between $500K and $4M. Whether you need financial/accounting services, effective internal controls, support analyzing financial performance and cost savings opportunities, assistance with forecasting, or a variety of other financial considerations, Nonprofit CFO exists to support you. We will tailor our services to fit your needs.
Michael was employed in executive leadership roles by three unique non-profit organizations in the Pittsburgh region over the past 4 decades. He has also served in voluntary leadership roles with a variety of other organizations. His professional experience spans many subsets of the nonprofit space including: government funded human service organization, membership supported independent non-denominational church, patient financed healthcare hospitality, and senior living community. Michael has experience with board recruitment, orientation, training and engagement as well as operations and financial leadership. Michael’s unique experience provides him with insight beyond traditional financial leaders – strategic vision, organizational development, and board governance – his insights make him a true strategic partner.
In addition to raising two successful daughters, Suzanne has worked as a Program Manager, Administrator, Membership Director, and Chief Executive Officer throughout her career. Suzanne earned her Masters in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh in 1990. She is always 'on mission' to share the love of Jesus and serve people in His name.
